Launched in 2021, TruReg was conceived as a response to the 2020 Anti-Money Laundering Directive 5, which set a legal obligation for most trusts in the UK to be registered with HMRC's Trust Registration Service. Recognising the technical and bureaucratic challenges this presented to trustees, TruReg, as a trusted HMRC agent, embarked on a mission to make this process as smooth and hassle-free as possible.
As TruReg winds down its operations post the deadline, we understand that there may still be ongoing needs related to trust registration or related services.
